Unfortunately, no statistics are currently available for those who have received a high school diploma online.The National Center of Education Statistics, which is a department within the Federal government, does keep statistics for online graduates.With greater emotional development and social skills, dating in later teen years can facilitate the development of personal identity and coping skills.Sorenson reports that tenth graders, becoming increasingly more autonomous from their parents, gain social support from dating relationships, trumped only by close friends.Learning the ropes of a high school relationship may be very difficult. A relationship, even if it’s not that serious, will never work if you don’t take some time to sit down and listen to your partner. Don’t stress over the small stuff and be open to anything. A high school relationship should be all about fun! There will be plenty of other time that a couple can spend together. Are there certain things a couple in high school should be doing? If you are constantly texting you may get sick of one another and by calling you can talk and really get to know one another. No one wants a stressful relationship so make sure you’re always having fun. No one in high school has a lot of money to blow on expensive and unnecessary gifts. – Get mad if they don’t text back or answer right away. It just makes everyone else in the halls feel extremely uncomfortable.
So for all young couples, here are a few pointers to help you have a successful relationship. Just because you have a boyfriend/girlfriend doesn’t mean your friends don’t exist anymore. Remember to keep the relationship stress free which includes not getting upset over the little things. Although it may be cute to you, some people don’t want to see all the lovie dovie talk out in public. Even if you do have them for each other please, keep it to yourselves.
