When I tray to update it from the website of Garmin, It will have to pay . When you purchase a new unit, Garmin allows you one free update within 90 days of first acquiring satellites.
When you purchase an old unit, you are not entitled to any updates for free.
Now, I hear the firmware has been pulled from the Garmin website.
